Trim Carpenrty
Let’s start off explaining what I mean when I say “Tim Carpentry”. This includes most wood mouldings used in the typical home; base boards, base cap, base shoe, window and door jambs, window and door casing, window stool and apron, crown, chair-rail, etc. I don’t have a lot of photos of basic trim carpentry details. Maybe it is because they seem typical and ordinary and don’t stand out compared to a custom built-in or a tiled shower. (I will add more example photos to this post in the future) That doesn’t mean that trim isn’t important detail to every home. Often, trim details are what make a room. There are many options out there to choose from. One of my favorite sources for mouldings here in Portland is McCoy Millwork. Check out there site to see the offerings.
